How awesome is this? This is Charlotte, whom I met on Sunday at The Sentinel Christmas Craft Fair. She bought a copy of Box 1571 at the beginning of the fair, and by the end she had produced this fantastic drawing. Apologies that the flash from my camera makes some of it difficult to see, but it includes the money, the shop, the post office and the lock to Box 1571's door!

an awesome time at the SCBWI Conference and met a huge number of
inspiring people - speakers, delegates and volunteers alike. It was
manically busy but great fun. Well done to all the authors who launched
their new book at the Book Launch Party, and the brave souls who had a
1-2-1 with the industry professionals. I hope everyone had as much fun
as me, even if I do need to catch up on some sleep!
