2016Posted by R.M. Tudor Thu, November 24, 2016 17:57:03
They've got a Gloriumptious Roald-Dahl themed Christmas mansion at Tatton Park this winter, and the Tatton's Christmas Shopping Weekend is happening this weekend. I'll be there, signing copies of Box 1571, and there'll be loads of other stalls as well.
See Tatton Park's events page.

SCBWI Conference (part 2)!

2016Posted by R.M. Tudor Tue, November 22, 2016 15:16:02
I had a wonderful time at the SCBWI conference over the weekend. I had a good excuse to bring out my Fantastic Mr Fox outfit again at the 'Cracking Characters' party! Thank you to everyone who spoke or helped or supported to make the conference a success. As always, I felt inspired after meeting so many other writers and illustrators!

SCBWI Conference!

2016Posted by R.M. Tudor Fri, November 18, 2016 08:29:32
It's the SCBWI conference this weekend! We've been extremely busy organising everything. I can't wait to meet our keynote speakers - David Almond, Leigh Hodgkinson and Sarah Davies - and see all our other speakers in action. I've been putting the finishing touches to my talk about creating resources for schools which I'm doing with Candy Gourlay and George Kirk. I also have my fancy dress outfit ready for the party where we'll be dressing up as book characters we love!

It's 100 years since the most wonderful author was born! I hope you're all enjoying Roald Dahl Day!

I've had some lovely photos sent through to me from Our Lady and St Werburgh's School, following my recent visits there. You can see them all in the photo gallery of the 'School Visits' section of my website, but I've included just a few here too. Thank you for sending them to me!
